Before You Say, "I Do"
Before You Say, "I Do", is a one-day pre-marriage workshop to help you find your answer. An experienced marriage and family presenter will lead you to:
- Determine your goals in marriage
- Compare your views of marriage; yours, your fiance's, and God's
- Explore issues in marriage: acceptance, conflict resolution, forgiveness
- Gain a deeper understanding of why we are the way we are
- Discover ways you can best communicate love to your future spouse
- Complete and use a personality profile (DiSC model)
- Plan a Christian wedding service (helpful hints)
This workshop will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 9:00am - 3:00pm. If you want to build a Christian marriage your're welcome to attend -- regardless of where you plan to get married or whether or not you attend a church. This event is offered to the community and led by Randy Hunter, our pastor, a husband and author and leader of national marriage enrichment events(www.welsmarriageretreat.org).
